Jules Roberto was talking to a prospective customer outside of Orlando's Parliment House early Saturday morning when a speeding driver crashed into his taxicab.

Roberto's cab suffered heavy damage, but Roberto walked away with only minor aches and pains.

His prospective customer, who was standing outside the taxi talking to Roberto, wasn't so lucky.

The unidentified man was hit by the car and suffered serious injuries.

Orlando Police say the driver of a speeding Mazda was coming up the northbound lane of North Orange Blossom Trail when he crashed into the two men.

That driver, whose identity has not been released, was also injured.

Roberto said it was a miracle he was still alive.

Police are still investigating the accident.
