In movies, someone jumps in a taxi and says "Follow that car!" In Norwood on Tuesday, police ended up following the taxi instead.

Norwood police said they were called to a gas station after the clerk said a customer was causing problems. Officers tried to pull the taxi over, but the driver refused to stop

The chase ended after about 10 minutes on Montgomery Road at Langdon Farm Road shortly before 10 a.m.

Police said the taxi wasn't stolen — the man driving it was the taxi driver, William Vayle, 43.

Officers said they had to use a Taser gun on Vayle to get him to comply with their instructions.
